Hallo, definitely European. Like the others loved the bit on rest. Have to disagree on the Netflix bit though. They "step away" for privacy, yet dish on the family and take millions to appear in a mini series? A little contradictory at least. My two cents.
Merry Christmas and along with the theme, Tschuss!
Love that definition of rest. And by that definition, I don’t get much of it. However, I feel that is the nature of life and you have to learn to somehow enjoy making constant ongoing effort. I found this pov validated in Stutz, the documentary that Jonah Hill has made about his therapist. Highly recommended watch, and is on Netflix.
The first time I went to Budapest was the first time I heard "Halló" (though it has an accent on the o). Cool to see the similarities in words/greetings across countries.

We can agree to disagree on the royal family. Thanks for reading and commenting. Now I know, hallo is European :)
My best friend spells it as "hullo" (a New Zealand thing maybe?? I should ask Laila) and it's become our inside joke to greet each other "hullo"
Hullo takes it to a new level. I like it!!

Yes, Stutz is wonderful. I know, that definition of rest puts most of our “rest and relaxation” to the test. Happy holidays, Parul. ❤️
When I was learning German in school, this was one of the informal greetings! Also beautiful newsletter today- I shared it with my friend.
Thank you, Kelly! Happy Holidays. 🙏

Happy holidays!!
I see. How American of me not to realize it was a European greeting! Happy Holideys to you :)
A portable speaker? Not too shabby. 🧐
Happy Chanukah and Merry Christmas to you!!
I know, fancy! Happy Holidays, Sandra.
