This took me down a Joe's Taco Lounge website detour.
And I loved this:
"Joe was a non-practicing Jew (or a practicing non-Jew), Marni a devout Canadian, and Gabriel and Luciel were born in India, raised in a cult, and schooled on classic MTV, which of course depleted their attention spans toward anything ecclesiastical."
Also, Owen's "Ok" response made me giggle. So did his cat contact photo.
“Remember this idea, dear reader, when something isn’t working, try the opposite. It will defy convention, and feel like a horrible idea, yet it just may turn out perfectly.”
I LOVE your newsletter Simone!! I always save it and sometimes I even getting around to reading it....i only save yours and Heather Cox Richardson's. Yours is much easier to digest, very enjoyable and quite relatable. Heather's is factual and full of hard hitting truth, so I suggest micro-doses!
This time my ADHD allowed me to sign in. I have attempted to reply/sign in before, but shinny objects must have pulled me away.
Im glad I am not the only one plagued with corny commercials from the 80"s that are securely planted in my memory bank using free data storage space. I remember the jingles unfortunately, but keep them to myself for obvious image preservation. Example: https://youtu.be/-k-SMhod7JY
It looks like you are in love? Yay!!! I still believe and keep the candle of universal mystery and faith burning for that cool guy out who wants to goof around as much as I do!
Speaking of fun, I love what I do.....shameless plug warning!! I just got 2 of my fabulous buyers into their new homes in Marin....
Remember when Densie and I came over to borrow your patio chaises on Browning to "stage" her deck? That when we first met! Lets hike again with her soon!!
I love that ADHD pulls you away from signing in and commenting. What an admission and one I can wholeheartedly relate to. Thank you for saving and occasionally reading my newsletter. I'm grateful for you. Congrats on the home sales. You rock the house!!!
It's pretty powerful, isn't it? It didn't occur to me until recently. They haven't had much practice being siblings. It sounds impossible, but here we are!
I always LOVE reading your newsletter. I didn’t notice any of the typos last week, maybe because I enjoy the content so much. The Falls look spectacular-what a wonderful way to honor your loved ones. 💗

Ok
What a researcher and rabbit-holer! That's such a great description.
I didn’t even notice your typos and whatnot. So that’s something good, right?!
That IS something good :)

Love this. So true!
Thanks, Alexandra. It's a method I use often (when I remember :)

"...nobody has shown them how to be harmonious..."
There is literal gold for anyone who cracks the code on that one!
"Sibling time" sounds like a great start. I can't wait to hear updates/details on how well it works!

Excellent read! They all are and I’m a shitty reader not to tell you so. A+ this week— warts and especially all.
A shitty reader, you are not! I sincerely appreciate you being on the other end of my words. ❤️
