Wait, so will you physically walk for 12 hours or just be disconnected from technology for 12 hours??? I can’t even imagine where I would go on foot for 12 hours. I did run from Tiburon to Mill valley once. It was amazing.
Yes, you physically walk for 12 hours and you're disconnected from technology. Both. The goal is more of a meditation, so I suspect I can stop and sit and even eat, but just without engaging with tech.
Great read as always, Simone. So much honesty in your writing. Love this passage:
“My life is devoted to being a better me. It’s what I have endless energy for. It’s what I do in my sleep and what I work hard for. Perhaps this is the definition of one’s superpower—equal parts hard work and effervescence.”
Definitely God-like. I could tell from the first time I heard you in that first mentor session in WoP8. You had me at hello. I could definitely do the 12 hour walk! Although kayaking down Pine Creek through the PA Grand Canyon is also a great way to get reacquainted with oneself. Thanks for the tips on the lamps! You'll kill it as a coach!!!
Len, I appreciate you, always! Thank you for being a reader, writer, and showing up as you do. Kayaking sounds beautiful. I’ll have to try that next time. ❤️🙏

Sounds lovely. I look forward to hearing about it.
you will be a great coach. and thanks for the lemony snicket rec. I need to get back into reading aloud to kids instead of outsourcing to audiobooks.
Lemony is a great series for all ages of kids (and adults). ❤️
Highly entertaining! Are you Queenie from Fantastic Beasts? Good luck with that megaaa walk.
Thank you, John! Considering I had to Google Queenie, I'm certainly not her :)
Very entertaining, go get em Coach!
Thank you, Rhys. Your comment means a lot!

Thanks, Alexandra. That was a cool realization I had as I was writing. I hadn't thought of it this way before. I'm glad it resonated. 🙏

Love having you as a reader, Sue. Walk out that door and don't come home for 12 hours!
